- Long Term Results
This is a mediocre product at best. It’s moderately expensive, but doesn’t live up to what the company claims it does.
Side Effects – Possible Irritant
This scrub contains eucalyptus oil and mint, which can be irritating to some people. Most of the people who reviewed this product said that it came out of the tube extremely thick and was heavy on the skin. The other problem is that the mint can have an overpowering smell when used on the face.
Texture – No Residue
We were not at all impressed by this product. The reviews on Amazon were 50/50, so it’s really up to each individual whether or not it’s worth trying. It’s like a thick paste and it has an unpleasant odor to it as well. Using a washcloth would probably be a better option to exfoliate the skin. It rinses off pretty easily, so applying makeup or a concealer afterwards is not a problem.
This is a mediocre product at best. It’s moderately expensive, but doesn’t live up to what the company claims it does. It comes out of the tube super thick and has a very strong smell. This scrub really doesn’t do anything in regards to lightening the skin. Basically it’s a good exfoliate for getting rid of dead skin cells. It also has a strong smell that many people found offensive.
The Bottom Line
Overall, this brightening scrub is not worth the money. It’s made with a long list of natural ingredients, most of them are exfoliates. This is not the right product to buy if you are looking for something that truly lightens the skin. After using it for a week, we saw no change in the color or brightness of dark spots or acne scaring. It also feels very thick and grainy on the skin. This product contains mint and eucalyptus, which can cause mild irritation to the skin and eye area.
